This research, called Open Monitoring Meditation, was conducted on 200 people. According to this research published in the journal Brain Sciences, meditation not only concentrates your emotions, thoughts, emotions but also increases your memory. Simply put, the brain repairs the fibers that are responsible for the habit of forgetting. Jeff Lynn, director of psychology, who is involved in the research, says meditation is the ability to bring new ideas and ideas to the brain.

The results of this study suggest that different mechanisms of meditation have different neural related effects. However, this research is still ongoing on the topic of open monitoring meditation because there is very little research on this topic worldwide. Meditation can usually focus on only one thing. Your breathing tells you something is going on in your brain. But this open monitoring meditation is a slightly different concept. This is a tune within you and monitors every activity in your body. Your goal is to be a Silent in the meantime but your mind is busy making the trip.

Lynn and his MSU authors conducted a 20-minute open meditation monitoring exercise to more than 200 people. It captures the brain activity of participants through the EEG (electroencephalogram). Brain activity is also measured at the millisecond level in EEG. Therefore, accurate and positive reports of neural activity were obtained. The team noted that during meditation controlled by mind and brain, your memory strength increases. However, this improvement does not happen immediately and will require constant meditation. Search team member Jason Moser said that our experiment was successful because, we were able to find out that even just 20 minutes of meditation can increase memory capacity.
